THE STORY BEHIND MODA

THE STORY OF MODA

A Family-Inspired Culinary Journey

Moda’s name is inspired by “Mom & Dad,” reflecting the family values, warmth, and sense of belonging that shape everything we do. Founded in 2024 with our first café and restaurant, Moda began as a vision to bring together European and Mediterranean flavors in a welcoming, family-inspired experience. In 2026, we expanded with Moda Cafe & Bakery in Richmond, Texas.

At our Richmond café and bakery, we offer French pastries, traditional Turkish desserts, and specialty coffee crafted with care. At our Chantilly restaurant, we bring together Italian, Turkish, and Mediterranean cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere, always focused on quality ingredients and time-honored recipes.

From handcrafted desserts to signature dishes and specialty chocolates, Moda reflects a blend of tradition, craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality in every detail.

The Moda Experience

Bringing People Together, One Table at a Time

Across both of our distinct locations, our mission remains rooted in genuine hospitality and culinary excellence. Whether you are gathering for an award-winning, rich Turkish breakfast and premium weekend brunch in Texas, or enjoying a beautifully curated Mediterranean dinner in Virginia, every dish tells a story of passion and craftsmanship.

From our freshly brewed artisanal coffees and daily baked artisan pastries to our signature lunch and dinner menus, we invite you to step away from the daily rush. At Moda, we don’t just serve exceptional food; we provide an inviting, warm atmosphere where friends and families can unwind, connect, and savor memorable moments together.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. +3Wonderful food and service. I was pleasantly surprise by the interior and the quality of the servers.

I’ve had fresh kaymak, and they didn’t pull back on honey quality. I loved all the food here.

Definitely recommended to try some Turkish food! Would definitely come back.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. +0unacceptable handling of a simple order.

I ordered a decaf hot chocolate using the “Decaf” option clearly listed on their own menu. My friend ordered a regular hot chocolate. When the drinks arrived, the server could not identify which one was decaf.

When I questioned this, staff told me they do not offer decaf hot chocolate. I showed them a screenshot of their menu with the decaf option selected, and their explanation was that it was “a mistake in the menu.”

That is unacceptable. If an option does not exist, why is it available to order, and why wasn’t I told before my drink was served?

Customers may choose decaf because they need to limit caffeine for health reasons. They should be able to trust the information on a business’s menu. This experience leaves me wondering how many other customers selected that option believing their request would be honored.

Calling it a menu mistake does not resolve the problem. Correct the menu immediately and make sure staff communicate clearly before accepting and serving orders they cannot fulfill. This seriously damaged my trust in this place

NEXT DAY UPDATE
I see the management answer that I appreciate and in response to this I am changing this from 1 star to 5. Confirmation was all that I needed. I see all the young ladies and men working in this place as if they are my own kids and I have been always and will continue supporting them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Me and my partner, Trung Cao, truly enjoyed this place! This was our first time here and we are definitely coming back. The tea they served is delicious! Amna Khan serviced us today and was very delightful! She treated us with some on-the-house cakes that were absolutely delicious! The cakes were not too sweet and paired nicely with the black tea. This is also a great place to study late at night if you want a different scenery. Thank you again for a great experience!
